This Pallaèrs cleaver is a forever piece — hand-fashioned from high-quality stainless steel and fitted with a classic boxwood handle, stamped with the Pallaèrs mark. The stainless steel blade will not rust, making it a practical workhorse for daily kitchen use. It will, however, require more frequent sharpening than a carbon steel blade to maintain its edge. A classic Pallaèrs design, made by a third-generation knife smith in the small town of Solsona, not far from Barcelona.

— About Pallaèrs Solsona — Est. 1917 —
PALLAÈRS was founded in 1917 and is today the last surviving cutlery workshop in Solsona — a small Catalan town once home to 24 knife-making factories. Established by brothers Lluís and Carles Pallaèrs Canal, the company quickly earned a reputation for exceptional forging and razor-sharp blades, expanding from Solsona to Barcelona and Girona. By the 1990s, new ownership embraced modern technology while preserving the handcraft tradition — bringing Pallaèrs blades to Europe, South America, and as far as Hong Kong.

PALLAÈRS成立於1917年，是索爾索納唯一現存的刀具廠。由Lluís和Carles Pallaèrs Canal兩兄弟創立，以精湛鍛造技術和锋利刀刃聞名。業務由索爾索納擴展至巴塞隆拿和赫羅納，90年代進一步引入新科技，令Pallaèrs產品遇佈歐洲、南美洲，更遠至香港。
