1790 English Tobacco Box- brass

Designed to used to carry tobacco, fire starting kit, patches, or many other uses. Stocked at most early trading posts. Hand-soldered construction with no lead bearing solder used. Available in standard or Early American Eagle design. American Eagle copied from a hand-engraved original. Measures 4" x 2" x 5/8"_ fire starting supplies. This will hold our "U" shaped striker but not the "C" shaped striker. Carried by trappers, traders, soldiers and frontiersmen. Could be used to carry many other items.
